Unpacking Manuel’s

Students choose an artifact from the Unpacking Manuel’s Tavern online project, and compose a short historical analysis of that artifact. This project encourages students to consider their audience, as well as how writing this type of text changed their consideration of similar texts they encounter in daily life. Students will submit their work to the curators of Unpacking Manuel’s for possible inclusion on the website.
